Info about the video game taken from wikipedia on August 3rd 2013:
"Plants vs. Zombies is a tower defense video game developed and originally published by PopCap Games for Microsoft Windowsand OS X. The game involves a homeowner using many varieties of plants to repel an army of zombies from "eating their brains". It was first released on May 5, 2009, and made available on Steam on the same day.[1][10] A version for iOS was released in February 2010, and an HD version for the iPad.[11] An extended Xbox Live Arcade version introducing new gameplay modes and features was released on September 8, 2010.[4] PopCap released a Nintendo DS version on January 18, 2011 with content unique to the platform.[12] The PlayStation 3 version was released in February 2011 also with added new co op and versus modes found in the Xbox 360 version. An Android version of the game, exclusive to the Amazon Android App Store, was released on May 31, 2011.[13]On February 16, 2012, a version was released for BlackBerry PlayBook.[5] Later a BlackBerry smartphone version of the game was released on January 2013 following the launch of BlackBerry 10.[6] Furthermore, both the original Windows and Mac version of the game have been re-released with additional content in a Game of the Year version.

The game received a positive response from critics, and was nominated for multiple Interactive Achievement Awards, alongside receiving praise for its musical score. PopCap officially announced that a sequel called Plants vs. Zombies 2: It's About Time would be released in the summer of 2013, sometime after the initially announced July 18 launch date.

Dee's Car Show June 2013 - Face Painting Booth

Hello again all my friends and family (and fans).  I'm off painting another Phantastical event.  Today's venu was the Dee's Car Show in Bountiful, Utah.  I do this even because my brother's girl friend works at Dee's and she introduced me to the manager who thought it might be a great idea to have a Professional Face Painter at their events.  So here I am.  Here's the photo's I was able to snap duing my work today and a few my husband took while I was painting our kids.  Thanks Dee's for inviting me back every month.  I appreciate the business and opportunity to meet new folks and see the cars!  My kids really dig the cars!  (we're picking up some 50's lingo while we're there too). My Little Pony Party May 25th, 2013

I hope you agree with me, these are the cutest kids!  I had a blast today painting for a My Little Pony themed birthday party.  These kids got Phantastical Faces.  The party was at the Willow Creek Country club in Salt Lake City, Utah.  Here's a photo of the club from outside.
When I arrived I was blown away by how awesome this kid's mother was.  She not only had arranged to have the party at the Country Club but had put up all the decorations, setup the tables with the themes, and made some really cute gift bags.  All of which I decided I'd capture and add to my blog for you to see (since I'm always looking for great ideas to go with my face painting parties).

Thanks for hiring me for this great event.

Rock Star Birthday Party

I was asked to do a "Rock Star" themed birthday party for a 9 year old girl.  Wow!  I really had to think hard about how to do that.  There's so many rock stars out there that aren't exactly 9 year old appropriate, let alone, how do you paint these little girls into them?  It was a challenge, but I think you'll like what I ened up with.  Enjoy!
