Dee's Car Show June 2013 - Face Painting Booth

Hello again all my friends and family (and fans).  I'm off painting another Phantastical event.  Today's venu was the Dee's Car Show in Bountiful, Utah.  I do this even because my brother's girl friend works at Dee's and she introduced me to the manager who thought it might be a great idea to have a Professional Face Painter at their events.  So here I am.  Here's the photo's I was able to snap duing my work today and a few my husband took while I was painting our kids.  Thanks Dee's for inviting me back every month.  I appreciate the business and opportunity to meet new folks and see the cars!  My kids really dig the cars!  (we're picking up some 50's lingo while we're there too). Here's a few Cars Face Paint designs I've done over the years.

My Little Pony Party May 25th, 2013

I hope you agree with me, these are the cutest kids!  I had a blast today painting for a My Little Pony themed birthday party.  These kids got Phantastical Faces.  The party was at the Willow Creek Country club in Salt Lake City, Utah.  Here's a photo of the club from outside.
When I arrived I was blown away by how awesome this kid's mother was.  She not only had arranged to have the party at the Country Club but had put up all the decorations, setup the tables with the themes, and made some really cute gift bags.  All of which I decided I'd capture and add to my blog for you to see (since I'm always looking for great ideas to go with my face painting parties).

Thanks for hiring me for this great event.

Rock Star Birthday Party

I was asked to do a "Rock Star" themed birthday party for a 9 year old girl.  Wow!  I really had to think hard about how to do that.  There's so many rock stars out there that aren't exactly 9 year old appropriate, let alone, how do you paint these little girls into them?  It was a challenge, but I think you'll like what I ened up with.  Enjoy!

Professional Utah Face Painter creates magical animals

Kids just love animals. It’s no wonder that when it comes to face painting, animals are on top of the list. Some animal face painting designs that are sure favorites among children and adults include the tiger, cat, dog, and butterfly. Don’t worry if there seems to be a lot of animal designs for you to master. Animal face painting designs usually have the same basic principles. And once I get started on one, it won’t be difficult to get into character. Here are some basic examples for you to get started with animal face painting ideas for your themed party.  Book me here.

Frightmares 2012

Working at Lagoon's Frightmares every year for the last 15 years has been a passion of mine.  I love creating all the crazy, scary, gorey, cutsie, and fun characters I've been assigned to over the years.  Read more about me at www.cbphantasy.com     This year I've picked a few pictures of me working there to share on my blog.  I like to show how fun it is but it really is hard work.  By the end of the Frightmares season I'm bushed.  I can barely walk, I can hardly talk, and I just crash when I get home.  8 to 10 hours on your feet painting faces day after day can be taxing, but it's very rewarding.  Why else would I go back every year?

My Little Pony Party

This weekned I was booked to do a "My Little Pony" themed birthday party.
I hadn't watched this show since I was a kid so we watched several episodes together as a family.  We love that show!!  It's so cute.

So after watching the show I found out there are boy ponies and a dragon!!!

So please take note, I attempted to make some boy designs for the little boys who attend the my little pony birthday party.  Also I have decided I'd use this blog to show all the practice work I do that doesn't make it to my full website at www.cbphantasy.com because if I put it all on there then people would be overwhelmed!  :D  Enjoy!
